Release 1.1.0
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here. The first release of De Het Swipe was already a month ago.
Release 1.1.0 What’s new?
First of all I’ve refined the balance of the words. I’ve received a feedback that there are a way more het- words than de- words, so I’ve adjusted them. It’s still not perfect, but it’s better. By the way, receiving feedback is such an exciting experience!
Other than that I’ve added a setting to adjust desired theme. Not only rely on system one. Added screen with Dutch rules regarding the usage of de/het.
Not much, huh? But the the huge work was behind the scenes. I restructured how words are managed: instead of grouping them purely by “de” or “het,” words are now broken down into categories. I also built a brand-new data service specifically to handle this raw categorized data more efficiently. I guess it allows me to add more categories in the future and/or possibility for users to manage their own word lists.
Of course some bugs were fixed too.
Overall, version 1.1.0 is available now, bringing together all these fantastic improvements over the past two months. Keep on swiping, and good luck mastering those Dutch articles!
